The finale in our Halloween series is none other than a Circus performer! I guess you could say I saved my favourite for last. After we dabbled in gymnastics, ballet and mixed dance classes we finally found the perfect match for Lottie - Circus classes! It's the perfect extracurricular and she has a crazy talent for the hula not to mention her wild flair for the dramatic so it has been a match made in heaven.

To be honest, in class they wear leggings and t-shirts - comfort clothes for movement - but at the end of the year they do a performance so I thought this could be something fun to whip up.

This outfit was so perfect for her and even though she decided days ago the witch was going to debut for Beggars Night tomorrow eve, I think once she put this on her mind was immediately changed.

For this look I combined the Merry Go Round top and peplum with the Ring Around the Rosie bloomers. This combo was so much fun I can see some summer outfits in lightweight lawns and linens making their way to my sewing table very soon.

I also loved making the pom poms so I can see a few strings of those going up around here and possibly a tutorial in the near future (they are so easy and rewarding to make).

For this look you'll need the Merry Go Round pattern and the Ring Around the Rosie. As I've mentioned before if you have any questions along the way or are looking for some inspiration, join us over at the Puzzle Facebook group - 'Friends of Puzzle Patterns'.

There are so many great ways to alter this to your little performer - collars, sleeves, embellishments, pants - that's the fun of Puzzle Patterns!
Remember to tag us with your creations at #puzzlepatterns.
Have fun with this one but don't be surprised if your little one runs away with the circus ...
