Kids Clothes Week Guest Blogger:
Tricia Cerda

It's day two of our guest bloggers! We had so much fun with Guus yesterday and today we have Tricia of It's Sew Tricia. Let's hand it over to the fabulous lady herself ... Hey everyone, I’m Tricia! I am so incredibly honored to get to write this blog post and to have been chosen to sew up some of Aimee’s awesome patterns. A little about myself…I live in Fresno, California. It’s the part of California that nobody is particularly proud to be from. ;) I’ve been sewing for sanity for two years now, self-taught (ok, You Tube and Pinterest...

Kids Clothes Week Guest Blogger:
Guus Hettema-Reuter

As a proud sponsor of our first Kids Clothes Week I thought it would be extra fun to invite a few guest bloggers to contribute to the blog this week. I was so lucky to find some talented and fun ladies to take our patterns and piece them together to make their very own versions of Puzzle Patterns! Kicking off the Week is Guus Hettema-Reuter of Stoffenfeest. So with no further adieu, here's Guus!! When Aimee of Puzzle Patterns called for a set to sew before the KCW kicked off, I did not hesitate for a moment. At this moment she has...

Puzzle Australian Fabric Tour:
Berry Quilt and Co.

The next stop on our Tour takes us to Berry, NSW and oh what a town it is! This fab spot has not one but TWO amazing craft epicentres so if you are looking for a creative road stop put a star on this one. The first on our Berry week is to Berry Quilt and Co. and I stumbled upon them during their expansion week. What was previously a store stacked from toe to ceiling with gorgeous prints, linens and unique designer finds has just opened up it's back end to a large space dedicated to classes and showing off their...

Puzzle Australian Fabric Tour:
The Mulberry Tree

As my sewing studio has now gone mobile I thought it would be fun to do a Puzzle Fabric tour of all the great fabric stores I find along my travels. We spent a lovely Easter week camping in the Showgrounds of Milton, a little town just next to Ulladulla in New South Wales. The town of Milton was tiny, hip and friendly with only a couple of main streets that were packed with lovely cafes, restaurants, boutique shops and luckily for me this amazing fabric shop! There were shelves packed with the most gorgeous prints and notions and I spent a great...

Puzzle Pieces: the Merry Romper

Puzzle Pieces: the Merry Romper

A couple of weeks ago we kicked off our Puzzle Pieces series with a combination of the Ring Around the Rosie Romper and the Flying Fox Dungarees to create a fun and frilly pair of overalls. This week we're back with another great mash up - the Merry Romper! This outfit combines the Merry Go Round pattern bodice and large collar with the Ring Around the Rosie high bloomers for an all new take on the patterns, perfect for parties or playgrounds! I fell so in love with this version - but one of the best parts of the whole...
